The puppet's lack of actual attack, (no teeth are shown!), and actual appearance of a smile, suggests the puppet may in fact be the boy's fredbear plush's spirit. The puppet's inability to hold a body shows that it is likely no one has been, or will be physically stuffed into the stuff, perhaps their spirit goes into it, not a body, explaining the paranormal nature of the puppet. The puppet does not hide in a box, nor listen to music. Unlike Nightmare, the Puppet's jumpscare does not show any teeth, or signs of aggression The Puppet's body is LITERALLY unable to hold a body, look at its rib cage and its arms and legs! **The Nightmarionette may not be canon, but his appearance is a hypothetical what would happen if the boy encountered it.**Scott purposefully put specific details down so that we finally, at long last, solve the story.
